very rare and sought after Chinese pre-ban Polytech AK-47/S Legend underfolder. This is a pre-ban rifle imported sometime in the mid-to-late 1980’s through Keng’s Firearm Specialties (KFS) in Atlanta i had the standard front sight block replaced with an original Polytech Spiker folding bayonet version, thus making this rifle a “double folder” (folding buttstock and folding bayonet). The wood furniture on the rifle was in rough shape when I got it, but I stripped the finish, sanded and cleaned it up, and then refinished it myself with a cherry/mahogany color stain which came out pretty nice. The blueing on the rifle looks beautiful and other than a few light scuffs on the right side of the barrel, this rifle is in absolutely terrific shape and does not appear to have been shot very much at all.
