Why This Gun?

This is a rare, discontinued SIG Sauer P227 Equinox from the Custom Shop (2014 production). It features a polished nickel trigger/hammer, TruGlo TFO front sight, SIGLITE rear, and E2 ergonomic grips—combining performance and collector-grade aesthetics.

Only a limited number were produced from 2014–2017 and discontinued in 2019. If you’re a fan of the SIG P220/P226 family, this will feel instantly familiar but with the power of .45 ACP in a double-stack frame.

Personal Note

I own two of these P227 Equinox pistols. This one has only been fired a few times and remains fully OEM.
My other unit has a trigger spring upgrade and it absolutely transformed the trigger feel—shorter reset and butter-smooth double-action. If you're considering carry use, a heavier hammer spring is available.
