80% lowers

There are people on here trying to sell 80% lowers that they have finished out themselves. If I recall correctly, this is federally illegal to do unless they have applied and registered it with a serial number engraved in them. That still potentially could be classed under them being a firearms manufacturer, which I think takes different paperwork.

From what I know you can sell it if you decide to sell after you built it. just not in commerce and not often. But I use to call ATF 3 times with questions like that see what the overall answer was then do my own research LOL

Oh really? I figured it was a gray area in Missouri if you didn't "build it with intent to sell", but I figured ATF wouldn't care either way haha. And well, I don't see a stamped serial number on it, but I guess it would be hard to see on a raw lower like that... Just don't want the site taken down due to "aiding in illegal sales" or anything like that!
