I would be nice to see the photo as well as the listing of sold items. I helps get an idea of what the market is as well as see what you might have missed.

I got an email from someone saying they were with Show Me Guns and had suspended my account, and they needed my bank info to reactivate my account. I'm new here, but everything is working fine.

There is an email and now PM going around that says you need to verify the account. They send a link that is not a hyperlink to copy and paste in your browser. I sandbox checked the link and it immediately goes to a pay screen requesting credit card information. on the page the logo says SHOW ME GUN (no S)

The user is ADMIN SHOWMEGUNS.

Just sharing here so someone can lop this off at its neck.

Would it be possible to add a Pump sub-category in the Shotgun section of listings? Seems it would be more fitting than the single, bolt, revolver option.
Just a thought, thanks

(530) 491-4591 sellers beware of this number.

Claims to be in Windsor, Mo with California area code. Complete scam

Beware of people asking you to do a "background check report"

They only want your info, not to buy your items.

Is there a way to change the upload for images to allow for pics of different sizes? Limiting the size to only one ends up getting the images for most peoples ads cropped out where you don't see all of the item. Many images get cropped by the user to begin with to edit out waste or undesired stuff in the original.
Asking for a friend, lol.

Face to face transactions preferred

Daytime trades only. I typically use a Quick Trip or busy sporting goods stores. Have even traded at the police office.

Do not Venmo, Cashapp, PayPal, or Zelle - these sites have no protection for the person receiving money. I speak from experience

If you do use a ffl please research the FFL and only use transfers to verifiable reputable ffls. I have received stolen FFL paperwork before. The scammer actually set up a fake website from a random small town ffl out of someone’s house to appear legit. I in fact called and got a foreigner answer and wanted me to Venmo the money. They then proceeded to email me saying they were in receipt of the weapon, inspected it and needed payment to transfer it to my ffl, “all fake”

Lastly, do your research on pricing. If the price is too good to be true it most likely is a scam. It’s too easy to look up pricing these days and most people that have high end weaponry aren’t desperate enough to sell a gun at a huge loss,

Also there are no $1500 scar 17s people. I see this asked so much. Haha

Stay safe guys and report scammers immediately.

I have a guy send me a fake ffl paperwork last week and wanted me to Venmo him the miney. He even set up a fake Venmo account in the fake ffls name. I string him along for a few days and got bored fucking with him. I kept making him check his Venmo account after I told him I sent the money and to send me tracking.

These scammers are out of control on all these classified sites. Also gun sales are notoriously known for screwing people over.

Love the Fred Flintstone reference though. I would went with Bam Bam personally haha
